We are delighted to be working with a distinguished Oxford college known for its academic excellence and vibrant community. They are now seeking a skilled and motivated Chef De Partie to join their professional kitchen team, delivering exceptional food across daily service, private dining and special events.

This role offers a great combination of structured hours, varied service experiences and opportunities to develop your culinary skills across all kitchen sections.

You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as a Chef De Partie…

  • £14.66 per hour
  • Working sociable hours, 40 hours per week
  • Sociable rotating shifts including 7am to 3pm, 8am to 4pm or 12pm to 8:30pm with rotated weekends off
  • Work as part of a dedicated team of 12 chefs
  • On-site parking and use of the college gym
  • Exposure to high-volume private dining and à la carte restaurant service

Responsibilities as a Chef De Partie…

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to the highest standards across multiple sections
  • Supporting smooth kitchen operations during daily service and special events
  • Ensuring consistency, precision and excellent plating for up to 380 private dining covers and 100 restaurant covers
  • Working closely with senior chefs to maintain food safety, hygiene and organisation
  • Rotating through all kitchen sections to gain broad experience and skill development
