A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Technical Operations Manager to join one of London's most iconic luxury hotels. Recognised worldwide as one of London's most prestigious five-star hotels, this iconic property is seeking a technically skilled leader to oversee its critical back-of-house operations.
Working alongside the senior engineering leadership team, you'll lead an experienced engineering team, manage specialist contractors and ensure the seamless operation of key plant and technical services.

Responsibilities as the Technical Operations Manager:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the hotel's essential back-of-house engineering services, including plant rooms, refrigeration systems and commercial kitchens
- Managing a team of approximately 10 to 12 engineers while coordinating a large network of specialist contractors
- Ensuring all building services are operating safely, efficiently and in line with the exceptional standards expected of a world-class hotel
- Planning and overseeing preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and maintain operational resilience
- Supporting ongoing refurbishment and construction projects, ensuring technical works are delivered safely and with minimal impact on hotel operations
We're looking for a Technical Operations Manager who:
- Has a strong engineering background within a luxury hotel environment
- Brings construction or major project experience, ideally gained alongside hotel operations
- Has experience managing engineering teams as well as multiple external contractors
