An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at an exceptional five-star country house hotel in Berkshire. Set within hundreds of acres of beautiful parkland, this luxury property offers an impressive collection of dining experiences, from relaxed all-day dining and private events to an acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurant.

Working within the hotel’s main kitchen, you’ll be involved across all-day dining, room service and banqueting, making this a brilliant opportunity for a chef who enjoys variety and the buzz of a large, multi-outlet operation. You’ll be joining a talented brigade where five-star standards run through everything they do, whether preparing for an intimate in-room dining order or a large-scale event. Due to the location, you must be able to drive.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Supporting the senior chefs with the smooth day-to-day running of the main kitchen
  • Working across all-day dining, room service and banqueting operations
  • Taking responsibility during busy services and helping to maintain consistently high standards
  • Preparing and delivering dishes using quality, seasonal ingredients

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous Junior Sous Chef experience within a five-star luxury hotel
  • Has experience working within a large, multi-outlet kitchen operation
  • Is comfortable working across banqueting, all-day dining and other busy hotel service
