We're looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at one of Gloucestershire’s most charming country hotels. Set within beautiful Cotswold countryside, this well-established venue is renowned for its seasonal British menus, busy restaurant, and thriving weddings and events business, making this an exciting opportunity for a strong kitchen leader who enjoys both quality and volume.

The hotel regularly hosts weddings, private functions and corporate events alongside its day-to-day restaurant operation, so you'll need to be organised, hands-on and confident leading a busy brigade.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading, motivating and developing a passionate kitchen brigade
  • Overseeing the smooth delivery of a busy restaurant service alongside weddings, conferences and private events
  • Working closely with senior management to ensure consistently high food standards across all services
  • Managing rotas, stock control, ordering, GP and labour costs
  • Training and mentoring junior chefs to help them develop their careers

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience as a Head Chef, or an experienced Senior Sous Chef ready to take the next step
  • Has a proven background in quality fresh food kitchens with high-volume service
  • Is experienced in delivering weddings, banqueting or large-scale events
  • Is a natural leader who inspires, develops and supports their team
  • Takes genuine pride in delivering consistently high standards
