The family are now looking for an experienced Private Housekeeper who takes enormous pride in their work and genuinely enjoys creating calm, beautifully organised living spaces. This role would suit somebody with previous experience working within a luxury private household and/or a 5-star hotel environment who understands discretion, attention to detail and the importance of delivering seamless service within a private home. You will be joining a lovely family where loyalty, professionalism and kindness are genuinely valued.
What You’ll Get as the Private Housekeeper
- Salary of £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Friday role 10.00am- 19.00pm

What We’re Looking For
- Have previous experience within a UHNW private household and/or luxury 5-star hotel
- Be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Have strong laundry and ironing skills, including care of delicate garments
- Be confident caring for fine furniture, antiques and luxury finishes
- Understand discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Have a calm, positive and professional manner
- Be naturally tidy, proactive and self-motivated
- Enjoy working both independently and as part of a wider household team
- Have excellent spoken English
- Hold the legal right to work in the UK
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining the residence to immaculate standards daily
- Cleaning and caring for luxury bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas
- Laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation
- Handwashing delicate garments and fabrics
- Polishing silver, brass and fine furniture
- Supporting with table service and light food service when required
- Ensuring kitchens and family areas remain beautifully presented
- Assisting with household organisation and daily routines
- Working closely with the family PA to ensure the smooth running of the residence
