We're supporting a popular Cotswolds hotel where fresh, seasonal British produce sits at the heart of the kitchen. Set within one of England's most picturesque villages, the property blends historic charm with modern comfort, offering a relaxed yet quality-focused dining experience. The kitchen operates with a 10-strong brigade, delivering up to 200 covers in a busy service, spanning restaurant dining, events and guest experiences. They are now looking for a talented Sous Chef to join the kitchen leadership team and help drive consistently high standards across the operation.

Responsibilities as the Sous Chef:
- Supporting the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations and service delivery
- Leading a 10-man brigade during busy services of up to 200 covers

- Training and mentoring junior chefs while maintaining strong team morale
- Assisting with menu development, stock control and kitchen organisation
- Upholding excellent hygiene and food safety standards at all times
This role would suit a confident Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up, ideally with experience in fresh food kitchens and busy hotel or restaurant environments.
