Our client is a beautifully restored 19th-century inn in the Gloucestershire countryside. A real hub of its village, it combines a cosy bar, stylish dining spaces and characterful bedrooms. The menu champions seasonal British ingredients, and the pub is popular with locals and weekend visitors. They are now looking for a hands-on Duty Manager to support the smooth running of the pub, restaurant and rooms.
You’ll be wondering what is in it for you as the Duty Manager:
- £35,590 per annum plus circa £4,000 service charge

Responsibilities as the Duty Manager:
- Leading service across the bar, restaurant and rooms, setting the tone on the floor

- Assisting with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and daily reporting
- Coaching and supporting the front of house team to maintain high standards
- Working with the kitchen and reception to ensure smooth operations and excellent presentation throughout the inn
