We’re working with a truly stunning coastal retreat in the North East, a 5 AA Red Star hotel with a strong reputation for exceptional dining and unforgettable experiences. Their 2 AA Rosette restaurant champions high-quality British ingredients with creativity, finesse, and a focus on flavour. They’re now looking for a Chef De Partie to join their tight-knit and talented kitchen team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to cook at a high level in a calm, well-run and genuinely supportive environment. Due to the location of the hotel, you will need your own mode of transport.

You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as a Chef De Partie…

  • £33,000 per annum plus £2,500 service charge
  • 4-day working week with straight shifts: 10am to 10pm with a break
  • Rotas organised 6–7 weeks in advance for a better work-life balance
  • One long weekend off every couple of months

Responsibilities as a Chef De Partie…

  • Running your section with consistency, precision, and pride
  • Supporting the Senior Chefs in maintaining high standards during busy services
  • Helping train junior team members in a calm, collaborative manner
  • Getting involved in daily prep and delivering beautiful plates to 2 Rosette standard
  • Keeping your section organised, clean, and running smoothly

This role would suit a level-headed Chef De Partie who’s looking for a stable and positive working environment, and who’s keen to grow within a luxury setting that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
