Our client is a beautifully refurbished country house hotel set in the Berkshire countryside, with elegant dining spaces, landscaped gardens and a popular terrace restaurant. They are looking for a talented Chef De Partie to join the brigade in their main restaurant, focusing on an à la carte menu built around quality seasonal ingredients and polished, modern British dining.

  • £30,000 per annum plus £1,000 service charge
  • Working 45 hours per week

Responsibilities as a Chef De Partie…

  • Preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard for the hotel’s à la carte restaurant service
  • Taking ownership of your section, managing mise en place, organisation and cleanliness throughout service
  • Working closely with the senior chefs to maintain consistency in flavour, presentation and timing
  • Helping to guide and support more junior team members when required

You’ll be a great fit if you have…

  • Solid experience as a Chef De Partie or strong Demi Chef De Partie within quality restaurant or hotel kitchens
  • Confidence running a section during busy à la carte service
  • Good technical skills, a strong eye for detail and pride in consistent plating
  • Reliable transport and the ability to comfortably commute from areas such as Wokingham and Reading
