We are a well-established firm providing independent financial advice on pensions, investments, protection, and inheritance tax planning in the heart of Stamford and surrounding areas. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious Paraplanner to join our team, supporting our financial advisers in delivering a consistently high standard of service to our clients. This is a dedicated paraplanning position, focused on the technical aspects of financial planning, with administrative and compliance support provided separately.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting advisers in formulating tailored client advice
  • Conducting detailed research and analysis of financial products and funds
  • Preparing high-quality suitability reports in line with FCA requirements
  • Undertaking technical and tax calculations using industry research tools
  • Building and maintaining cashflow models to support client planning

About you:

We are looking for someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. You will ideally be/have:

  • Qualified to at least Level 4 Diploma, and working towards Chartered status
  • 2 years minimum experience as a Paraplanner
  • Experience using Intelligent Office, FE Analytics, and CashCalc
  • Good technical knowledge of financial products and services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • A drive to succeed and deliver a high level of customer service
