We are seeking an experienced and driven National Account Manager to join our thriving team based in Wembley. The individual we recruit will lead and nurture our relationships with key national retail accounts. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in account management, negotiation, strategic planning, and the ability to drive growth across our retail partners.
- Account Management & Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national retail accounts, serving as the primary contact for major retailers in the UK.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, promotions, and new product listings with retail partners.
- Business Planning & Strategic Development: Create and execute annual business plans for each account, including revenue targets, growth initiatives, and market share goals. Conduct regular business reviews with retailers to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Promotional Planning & Budgeting: Collaborate with marketing to design and implement promotional activities that drive brand awareness and sales. Work closely with the supply chain, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and high service levels.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and potential risks within accounts. Prepare regular reports on account performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not essential). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in national account management, preferably within the FMCG/food industry. Proven track record of successfully managing and growing key retail accounts. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Highly organised, with strong planning and time-management abilities.
