Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven National Account Manager to join our thriving team based in Wembley. The individual we recruit will lead and nurture our relationships with key national retail accounts. This role is essential for ensuring that Golden Meadows Limited and Koka Noodles remain top-of-mind in a competitive market. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in account management, negotiation, strategic planning, and the ability to drive growth across our retail partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management & Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national retail accounts, serving as the primary contact for major retailers in the UK. Understand each retailer’s strategic goals, aligning Golden Meadows Limited’s objectives to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, promotions, and new product listings with retail partners. Ensure favorable terms and agreements, balancing profitability with competitiveness.
  • Business Planning & Strategic Development: Create and execute annual business plans for each account, including revenue targets, growth initiatives, and market share goals. Conduct regular business reviews with retailers to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Promotional Planning & Budgeting: Collaborate with marketing to design and implement promotional activities that drive brand awareness and sales. Manage promotional budgets, track return on investment, and adjust plans as needed to maximize impact and meet business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the supply chain, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and high service levels. Collaborate with marketing and finance teams to align promotional activities with broader company goals.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and potential risks within accounts. Prepare regular reports on account performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.
  • Market Insights & Strategic Input: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and changing customer demands to inform strategic decisions. Provide input into product development, merchandising strategies, and pricing adjustments based on retailer feedback and market dynamics.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not essential).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in national account management, preferably within the FMCG/food industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing key retail accounts.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
