About the Role
This is not just a trainee role. It is the starting point of a long term professional career in accountancy. As a Trainee Accountant, you will join a forward thinking and high growth organisation where talent is genuinely developed rather than overlooked. From day one, you will be immersed in real financial operations and gain hands on exposure across core areas of accounting, finance, and commercial decision making. You will be fully supported and mentored by experienced professionals who are committed to helping you succeed.
This role is ideal for ambitious individuals who are eager to build a strong foundation in accountancy and progress quickly. Whether you are a recent graduate, a career changer, or someone with early exposure to finance, this position offers a structured yet dynamic environment where learning is continuous and progression is real.
You will not be limited to repetitive administrative tasks. Instead, you will work closely with senior accountants and finance managers, contributing to meaningful financial processes and real business activity. You will gain exposure to management accounts, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, tax preparation, compliance, and audit support. This breadth of experience will give you a well rounded understanding of how finance supports and drives a successful business.
A strong understanding of Anti Money Laundering and compliance is a significant advantage for this position. AML frameworks, systems, and internal controls are routinely reviewed by both internal and external auditors. Candidates with prior exposure to AML requirements, compliance processes, and financial crime controls will be well positioned to support audit activity, regulatory reviews, and governance requirements within a regulated finance environment.
What makes this role particularly exciting is the level of responsibility and visibility you will gain over time. As your confidence and technical skills develop, you will be trusted with more complex work and greater ownership. You will also develop essential professional skills including communication, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness.
This role is designed for individuals who want more than just a job. It is for those who want a clear career path, recognised development, and long term progression within accountancy and finance.
