National Account Executive – FMCG

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid Working)

£30,000 – £35,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a National Account Executive to join a dynamic and growing team, supporting key grocery and high street accounts. This role is perfect for a commercially minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make an impact. Working closely with the National Account Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in driving sales, supporting account management and ensuring operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Tracking and analysing weekly sales performance, providing insights to drive growth.
  • Managing promotional activity, ensuring smooth execution through customer portals.
  • Conducting promotional performance analysis and making data-driven recommendations.
  • Handling invoice approvals and ensuring accurate financial tracking.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key retail partners, acting as a key point of contact.
  • Managing monthly forecasting and working closely with internal teams across supply chain, finance and product.
  • Liaising with supply chain teams to maintain efficient communication and resolve any operational challenges.
  • Supporting the National Account Manager in customer meetings and strategic planning.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve account efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a similar account executive role within FMCG
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
