We're partnering with an ambitious, founder-led consumer brand that has experienced exceptional growth over the last few years.

Having built a loyal customer base and a strong digital presence, the business is now entering its next stage of expansion across both DTC and retail channels.

As part of this exciting journey, they're looking to appoint a Head of Marketing to bring together brand, digital and commercial marketing under one strategic leader.

Reporting directly to the Founder, this is a rare opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of a high-growth business, building the marketing function and influencing the wider commercial strategy.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the entire marketing function, ensuring the brand and commercial trading strategy work seamlessly together while leading a growing team and managing external agency partners.

You’ll be responsible for developing the long‑term marketing vision while remaining close enough to execution to ensure ideas become reality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the overall marketing strategy across both brand and commercial marketing.
  • Own the annual marketing calendar, ensuring brand campaigns and trading activity are fully aligned.
  • Lead brand positioning, customer engagement and storytelling across all channels.
  • Work closely with the ecommerce function to drive revenue, customer acquisition and trading performance.
  • Manage external agencies across paid media, social media and digital marketing.
  • Analyse marketing performance and present commercial insights and recommendations to the Founder.
  • Build, mentor and develop the internal marketing team as the business continues to grow.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure investment delivers measurable commercial return.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across ecommerce, product and operations to support continued business growth.
  • Help shape the future marketing structure as the company scales internationally.

About You

We're looking for an experienced marketing leader who enjoys operating within ambitious, fast‑paced businesses.

You’ll be equally comfortable discussing brand strategy, customer engagement and creative campaigns as you are analysing commercial performance, marketing budgets and trading activity.

You’ll likely have experience within a consumer, beauty, lifestyle or ecommerce brand and enjoy balancing strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach.

You’ll ideally have

  • Previous experience as a Head of Marketing, Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Director or similar leadership role.
  • Experience within a DTC, ecommerce or consumer brand environment.
  • Strong understanding of both brand marketing and commercial/trading marketing.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and external agencies.
  • A commercially driven mindset with the ability to translate data into marketing decisions.
  • Experience building and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working alongside founders or senior leadership teams.

Why Join?

  • Opportunity to shape the future of a rapidly growing consumer brand.
  • Work directly alongside an ambitious Founder with genuine influence over business direction.
  • Build and lead a growing marketing function.
  • Join at an exciting stage of growth with significant investment planned.
  • Hybrid working (2 days per week in the Leeds office).
  • Excellent opportunity for future progression as the business continues to scale.

If you're an experienced Head of Marketing looking for a role where you can genuinely influence performance and be part of an exciting growth journey, we’d love to hear from you.
