We’re recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join a growing and well-respected compliance business covering Watford and surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants regional work, a stable long-term role and the chance to develop professionally in a supportive environment.

You’ll be carrying out a broad mix of water hygiene tasks across private and public sector sites, with a strong focus on quality, safety and compliance. Travel is kept as local as possible, with no overnight stays and paid travel time.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Completing temperature checks, sampling and routine monitoring
  • Carrying out TMV servicing, basic tank cleans and chlorinations
  • Ensuring all work is delivered in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines
  • Producing clear, accurate reports and communicating any compliance risks
  • Working across a range of client sites within a manageable region

  • Proven experience in water hygiene or water treatment sector
  • A solid understanding of compliance and industry best practice
  • Able to work independently with good attention to detail
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
