A well-established environmental compliance consultancy based in the Midlands is looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Bulk Analyst to join their UKAS accredited laboratory in Stoke-on-Trent. Due to continued growth, the business is expanding its laboratory team and is keen to speak with candidates who have proven experience analysing bulk asbestos samples.
This role would suit someone who is confident working within a UKAS accredited laboratory environment and is looking to join a stable and reputable consultancy with strong long-term prospects.
As an Asbestos Bulk Analyst, you will be responsible for carrying out bulk asbestos analysis in line with UKAS standards, ensuring accurate, compliant and timely results for clients.
Key responsibilities of an Asbestos Bulk Analyst:- Preparation of bulk samples for analysis
- Analysing samples for asbestos content in line with UKAS requirements
- Accurate data entry and maintaining laboratory records
- Producing clear and compliant reports for clients
- Supporting the Laboratory Supervisor with ad-hoc duties when required
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with company procedures and quality standards
- Hold the BOHS P401 qualification
- Have experience working as an Asbestos Bulk Analyst within a UKAS accredited laboratory
- Have a strong eye for detail and a quality-driven approach
- Be confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office
- Have good time management and organisational skills
- Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Work well as part of a team
- Salary up to £27,000, depending on experience
