A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a successful and growing business based in Pembrokeshire.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the warehouse, leading a team of 15 staff and ensuring products are picked, packed and dispatched accurately across both DTC and wholesale channels.
Working closely with the Head of Supply Chain, you'll oversee warehouse operations, stock accuracy and quality standards while helping to ensure products move efficiently through the business.
The Role
As Warehouse Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the warehouse, ensuring operational efficiency, high levels of accuracy and excellent service.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing, motivating and developing a warehouse team of around 15 staff.
- Overseeing all warehouse operations, including picking, packing and dispatch.
- Ensuring high levels of stock accuracy and inventory control.
- Carrying out quality checks on outbound orders, including artwork and labelling before dispatch.
- Coordinating inbound and outbound stock with the Head of Supply Chain and 3PL partners.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety throughout the warehouse.
- Monitoring warehouse performance and implementing improvements to efficiency and accuracy.
- Managing warehouse organisation and ensuring operational processes are followed.
- Building a reliable, accountable and well-organised warehouse team.
About You
You'll ideally have
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Experience managing warehouse teams within ecommerce, DTC, retail, FMCG or consumer goods.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and stock control.
- A hands-on management style with the ability to lead by example.
- Excellent organisational and people management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- A proactive approach to solving problems and improving warehouse performance.
