We are working with a respected UKAS-accredited Asbestos Management Consultancy that is continuing to grow across the South East. They provide asbestos surveying, air monitoring and project management services to a large client base spanning the commercial and industrial sectors.
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be carrying out management, refurbishment and demolition surveys across a variety of small to large-scale commercial and industrial sites in Surrey, London and the Home Counties.
Duties of an Asbestos Surveyor will include:
- Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition surveys across various commercial and industrial type sites
- Producing accurate, detailed survey reports for clients
- Collecting and submitting bulk samples for analysis
- Working in line with HSG:264 and company health and safety procedures
- Representing the business on-site and building solid client relationships
- Managing your own workload while maintaining a high standard of work
The successful Asbestos Surveyor will have:
- Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Background in commercial and industrial contracts
- Full UK driving licence and willing to travel across London & The Home Counties
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong IT skills, confident with Microsoft Office and asbestos software such as TEAMS (or similar)
- High attention to detail and a proactive, professional approach
