We're recruiting on behalf of a well-respected engineering and compliance provider delivering water treatment, mechanical and safety services to a wide range of commercial and industrial clients across the UK. They're known for their technical standards, supportive culture and genuine investment in training and due to continued growth they're now looking for a Senior Service Engineer to join their team.
The Role
You'll play a key part in delivering service, maintenance and installation of specialist water treatment equipment, while also supporting continuous improvements across the team and acting as a senior technical point of contact.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and fault-find on a range of water treatment systems such as water softeners, filtration, reverse osmosis, UV systems, dosing and associated equipment
- Lead installation and commissioning work on client sites
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring and support to engineers
- Assist with developing service documentation, procedures and reporting
- Identify and resolve performance issues across equipment and systems
- Support team performance, training and operational improvements
- Maintain strong Health & Safety standards at all times
- Travel to client sites with occasional overnight stays when required

- Experience servicing and maintaining water treatment equipment (softeners, RO, UV, filtration, dosing systems)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Confident leading installations or acting as a senior technical contact
- Good communication and mentoring skills
- Knowledge of Health & Safety within engineering environments
- Flexibility for travel and occasional overnights
- A proactive, organised and customer-focused approach
