CDM Consultant/Principal Advisor

Leicester, East Midlands (Remote)

Our client is a successful multi-disciplinary Health & Safety Consultancy with a growing global presence. Renowned for providing innovative, tailored safety solutions, they serve a varied client base, including leading organisations in the Construction, Education, and Healthcare sectors. Due to continued growth, our client is now seeking a highly skilled CDM Consultant/Principal Advisor to join their forward-thinking team.

As a CDM Consultant/Principal Advisor, you will:

  1. Provide specialist CDM and Health & Safety advice across multiple sectors such as Construction, Estates/FM, Education, and Healthcare.
  2. Conduct in-depth site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to promote safety and compliance.
  3. Carry out detailed workplace audits and construction site inspections.
  4. Assist in accident and incident investigations, delivering comprehensive safety reports to clients.
  5. Collaborate with design teams, offering expert guidance to evaluate plans and reduce design risks.

What will you need?

  1. NEBOSH Construction (Diploma preferred).
  2. IOSH (Tech/Grad/CMIOSH), AaPS (desirable).
  3. A solid track record in managing health & safety within construction and large-scale organisations, with a focus on developing and executing robust safety management systems.
  4. Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations with proven experience acting as Principal Designer/Advisor.
  5. Experience in conducting Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) audits.
  6. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to write high-quality reports and engage confidently with clients.
  7. Full UK driving license with willingness to travel to sites across the M1 Corridor.
