Due to continued growth and the award of a major long-term contract in Cambridge, a new opportunity has arisen with a growing UKAS-accredited Asbestos Management Consultancy and Training Provider. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Asbestos Surveyor looking for long-term stability, a consistent workload and the opportunity to become part of a supportive and well-established team. Whilst the contract is based in Cambridge, the business can also offer regional work where required. Candidates located within a commutable distance of Cambridge are encouraged to apply.
The role will involve undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys across a varied commercial portfolio, working closely with clients and site teams to ensure all work is delivered to a high standard.
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will:
- Undertake Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys
- Produce accurate survey reports in line with current legislation and industry standards
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with company procedures
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Ensure a high standard of reporting and documentation at all times
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience carrying out asbestos surveys across commercial properties
- BOHS P402 / RSPH Level 3 qualified (additional P403 and P404 is highly desirable!)
- Experience undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys
- Strong knowledge of current asbestos legislation and industry best practice
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads effectively
- Good IT skills, including experience using TEAMS or similar asbestos management software
