We’re working with a successful, UKAS-accredited asbestos management consultancy based in Essex that continues to grow following the award of several large commercial contracts. As part of this growth, they’re now looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Asbestos Surveyor to join their asbestos surveying team.
This role would suit an Asbestos Surveyor with a strong background in commercial asbestos surveys who is looking for a stable, long-term position. The work is predominantly commercial and industrial asbestos surveying, with a consistent workload across Essex and London.
You’ll be responsible for completing Management Surveys and Refurbishment & Demolition asbestos surveys in line with HSG264 guidance, producing high-quality asbestos survey reports and supporting clients across a range of sectors.
Asbestos Surveyor Responsibilities:- Carrying out commercial asbestos surveys and industrial asbestos surveys
- Completing Management Surveys and Refurbishment & Demolition surveys
- Undertaking asbestos surveying in line with HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
- Collecting bulk asbestos samples for laboratory analysis
- Producing clear, accurate asbestos survey reports using Alpha Tracker
- BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent qualification
- Minimum of three years’ experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Proven experience delivering commercial asbestos surveys
- Strong understanding of asbestos management and asbestos regulations
- Confident using Alpha Tracker or similar asbestos reporting software, Microsoft Office and hand-held tablets
- Good communication skills when dealing with clients and site contacts
- Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel
