A growing and personable Water Hygiene business is looking to add an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants steady work, varied sites and the chance to increase earnings through regular optional overtime.
The Role
- Carrying out a range of Water Hygiene and Legionella control duties across public and private sector sites, including retail, commercial and hospitality environments.
- Cold Water Storage Tank (CWST) cleans and disinfections
- Calorifier inspections and blowdowns
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- TMV servicing and checks
- Cleaning and disinfection of showerheads and outlets
- Expansion vessel flushing
Working Pattern
- Predominantly Midlands-based work
- Occasional UK travel with overnight stays (typically 2–3 nights per month)
- Overtime readily available for those who want it
- Flexible working hours
Workloads are well managed, with flexibility and support from a close-knit team.
Salary & Package
- Basic Salary up to £32,000 depending on experience
- Regular overtime opportunities
- Company vehicle (personal use permitted)
- Phone allowance
- 28 days holiday incl bank holidays
- Pension
- Additional Training: Plumbing and/or Legionella Risk Assessing
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer
- Good working knowledge of Legionella control, ACOP L8 and HSG274
- Confident carrying out duties independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel when required
