An established UKAS-accredited Asbestos Consultancy is seeking a Principal Asbestos Consultant to support continued growth across the Midlands. This is a senior opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Consultant looking to step into a leadership-focused role within a respected asbestos management and compliance business.
As Principal Asbestos Consultant, you’ll take the lead on complex asbestos projects while supporting regional performance and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing asbestos projects from initial instruction through to final delivery
- Making sure contracts are running smoothly and meeting agreed standards
- Reviewing and signing off reports before they go out to clients
- Being a main point of contact for key accounts and long-term frameworks
- Supporting and guiding Surveyors and Analysts within the team
- Ensuring all work aligns with UKAS procedures and current legislation
- Keeping an eye on project timelines, resources and overall performance
The successful Principal Asbestos Consultant will have:
- BOHS P402, P403 & P404, M504 or P405 certifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience within a UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy
- Strong background in asbestos surveying and asbestos analytical services
- Experience managing asbestos frameworks and multi-site projects
- Excellent knowledge of UK asbestos legislation and HSE guidance
- Full UK driving licence
- CoCA (Certificate of Competence in Asbestos) desirable.
