Job Title : Water Hygiene Supervisor Location : Newcastle & Surrounding Areas Salary : £32,000 per annum + Company Vehicle Benefits : 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) About the Role I am recruiting on behalf of my client, a leading provider of water hygiene services, for a Water Hygiene Supervisor in the Newcastle area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a solid background in water hygiene and legionella control to take on a leadership role. You will be responsible for overseeing essential water hygiene services and managing a team to ensure compliance with legionella prevention and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and that all water hygiene and legionella control tasks are completed to the highest standard. Oversee key water hygiene services, including temperature monitoring, showerhead disinfection, water tank cleaning, and TMV maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and legionella control protocols. Lead and support a team of engineers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely across multiple sites. Provide ongoing training and development to team members, ensuring they stay updated on the latest industry standards and best practices. Conduct audits to ensure all work meets the required compliance standards, including HTM0401 and risk assessments. Maintain accurate records of water hygiene activities, including legionella risk assessments, temperature checks, and tank cleans. Skills & Experience Extensive experience in water hygiene services, with a solid understanding of legionella control and HTM0401 regulations. Proven leadership skills, with experience managing a team to deliver high-quality service. Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build relationships and address client needs effectively. Technical knowledge of water hygiene systems, including TMV maintenance, showerhead disinfection, and temperature monitoring. Organisational skills to manage multiple contracts and priorities. A valid UK driving licence is essential for site travel. Why Apply?
