We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for creating exceptional dishes. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment
- Oversee food production, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and creativity
- Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and allergen controls
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients and kitchen supplies
- Develop new recipes and menu items in collaboration with management
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control to minimise waste
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members to enhance their skills and performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience with team management capabilities
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary trends
