We are partnering with a very exciting Mental Health start-up that is building a comprehensive mental health platform with both free direct-to-consumer and B2B offerings. Having recently partnered with the biggest healthcare provider in the world and been named Start-up & App of the Year, they are well positioned for rapid growth.
They are looking for a VP/Head of Data & AI to lead the development of an ML/AI patient triage platform. We seek a technical (hands-on) leader with experience in the HealthTech space, preferably related to mental health, in a start-up or scale-up environment.
Technical and Data Challenges:
- Managing sensitive conversation data from users discussing mental health issues
- Establishing data privacy and security protocols, especially for B2B partnerships
- Implementing clinical efficacy guardrails for AI systems
- Creating appropriate boundaries between AI companion and therapist roles
- Developing comprehensive data modeling and analytics capabilities
Required expertise:
- HealthTech background is a must have, ideally with experience in Mental Health products/services
- Deep machine learning, data engineering, and AI expertise
- Ability to be hands-on while developing strategic direction and leading a team in the future
- Proven track record building data services to enable product innovation
- Experience defining data architecture and governance
- Understanding of clinical safety considerations
