About Foundation Partners:
Foundation Partners is a specialist People & Talent consultancy that supports early-stage startups in building world-class teams. We partner with high-growth companies through an embedded model, acting as an extension of their internal hiring teams. Our clients span across exciting sectors including AI, FinTech, PropTech, BeautyTech, and more! We typically support from Seed to Series B stage.
We’re often the first in-house talent team our clients have ever had. That means we don’t just fill roles; we lay the foundations for scalable hiring. If you thrive in early-stage chaos, love building from scratch, and enjoy making real impact, this is your kind of role.
We’re now looking for a Talent Partner with proven experience in GTM hiring (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, etc.) who brings a data-led, consultative approach to recruitment and is comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
The Role:
As a Talent Partner at Foundation Partners, you’ll be embedded with our startup clients, working closely with founders and hiring managers to shape and scale their teams. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end delivery across GTM roles, using data to drive hiring decisions, improve processes, and report on progress.
You’ll need to be highly organised, proactive, and confident building processes where none exist — often acting as the first ever talent presence in a business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic talent partner to multiple clients, owning hiring across GTM functions
- Deliver full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, managing processes, and closing candidates
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through direct sourcing using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and ATS platforms
- Report on hiring metrics and pipeline data to stakeholders with clarity and confidence
- Advise founders and hiring managers on market trends, hiring strategy, and process optimisation
- Help lay the foundations of hiring infrastructure – from interview frameworks to ATS setup
- Champion employer branding and an exceptional candidate experience
- Collaborate with other Talent Partners to share insights, tools, and best practices
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience in recruiting, with strong delivery across Tech & GTM roles
- Proven experience working in or with early-stage startups (Seed to Series B).
- Direct sourcing expertise - you know how to find and engage passive talent.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to present hiring metrics and insights clearly
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills - you keep multiple processes moving smoothly
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a consultative, solutions-focused approach
- Comfortable being the first recruiter in a business and confident building from the ground up
- Adaptable and curious - comfortable context-switching across sectors and startups
Nice to Have:
- Experience with embedded/onsite talent models
- Familiarity with ATS platforms like Ashby, Screenloop, Greenhouse, or Lever
- A passion for startups and emerging technology sectors
Why Join Us?
- Work with a diverse portfolio of innovative startups
- Be part of a small, high-performing, and collaborative team
- Autonomy, trust, and flexibility
- Opportunity to grow with a fast-evolving talent consultancy
