Senior Technical Delivery Manager (12 month FTC) (Basé à London)

Job SummaryTo shape, plan and organise projects so that they are delivered according to the business drivers of time, cost and quality to produce the desired results. You will be the point of reference for everything involving a project’s organisation, approach and timeline and provide effective stakeholder management and communication (including to Committee / Executive level where required).This role will be responsible for the management from start (production of a PID) through to end (BAU sign-off). This will involve project management and delivery of business systems-based projects and direct engagements with business colleagues.Experience required delivering projects involving Technology Partners and 3rd parties with mix of onshore and offshore teams.Main dutiesEnd to End project management responsibility for shaping and delivering multi-workstream projects.Project scope, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resourcing.Management of project(s) budgetAccountability for managing the project(s) within the defined scope and ensuring impacts of changes to scope are managed through effective change control.Accountability for ensuring implementation in line with the defined Change PolicyWorking with relevant IT teams, to ensure the project delivery is aligned to the strategic systems architecture and security protocols.Responsible for resourcing projects appropriately in line with budgetary constraints.Ensuring that the project impacts are understood and effectively managed for all key areas of the Chaucer business, such as Chaucer Technology Group, Actuarial, Operations, Underwriting, Claims, Finance & HR.Manage risks and issues and implement mitigation plans.Produce all project documentation in line with Change PolicyInput into RFPs and supplier selection, where applicableSteering Group and Workshop facilitation, reporting and presentation.Understanding and applying Agile delivery methodology appropriatelySkills & CompetenciesExcellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Collaborative approach to problem solving.Innovative and pragmaticCertifications in related technologies and project management are a plus.Proven Programme Management history of successful delivery on high profile / strategic projects in a cloud computing environment.Significant experience of Change Management projects.Significant experience of reporting to Committee and Senior StakeholdersProven track record of managing budgets.Project Management (Prince 2, APM, PMI or equivalent): AdvancedChange Management: CompetentAgile delivery methodologies: CompetentAgile development and delivery systems ( TFS/ADO/Plan View or similar ): CompetentMS Office applications: CompetentBudgetary / Resource Management and Forecasting: CompetentSystem development Lifecycle end-to-end: CompetentEnterprise and Solution Architecture: AwarenessBusiness / System Analysis Techniques: AwarenessBusiness process / Workflow modelling: AwarenessUser Experience: CompetentInfrastructure / Networking Technologies: AwarenessBusiness Continuity/Disaster Recovery: AwarenessEducationDegree qualified (or equivalent experience)Project Management Qualification (PRINCE II, APM, PMI or ISEB)AgileITIL/ITSMABOUT USChaucer is a leading insurance group at Lloyd’s, the world’s specialist insurance market.
