Our team focuses on building the platforms and frameworks that empower regional engineers to seamlessly integrate Wise with payment systems across the globe. This involves working at both the core payment processing level and on specific regional integrations.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining us on our exciting License Allocation project! Wise is committed to providing a truly global and seamless experience for our customers. You’ll contribute to building the framework that ensures we serve our customers with the most suitable license, no matter where they are.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • Proven track record: You’re a results-oriented individual with a history of delivering successful projects.
  • Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Distributed systems expertise: You have experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
  • Java proficiency: You possess strong Java 8+ skills.
  • Database knowledge: You’re comfortable working with relational and non-relational databases, including query optimization and schema design.
  • Customer-centric approach: You have a strong product mindset, prioritise customer needs, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Team player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working together to solve complex problems.
  • API design: You have experience designing, deploying, and maintaining clean RESTful APIs.
  • Quality code: You adhere to best coding practices, participate in code reviews, and value open feedback.
  • Testing advocate: You write testable code and believe in Test Driven Development.
