A globally recognised professional services firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to join its Defence & Security Consulting Practice. This team partners with leading Defence, National Security, and Government clients to solve complex, high-impact strategic and digital transformation challenges.

You’ll work alongside experts in cloud transformation, data analytics, digital strategy, and secure technology implementation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading major consulting engagements focused on business transformation, IT strategy, digital enablement, and operating model redesign
  • Advising defence and security clients on technology-driven change – including cloud adoption, digital infrastructure, cyber resilience, and data platforms
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders in organisations such as the Ministry of Defence, Strategic Command, and national intelligence agencies
  • Supporting business development by crafting compelling technology-driven value propositions and proposals
  • Contributing to thought leadership and capability development in areas like digital transformation, secure cloud, and AI/analytics in Defence

What we’re looking for:

  • A consulting background with experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes in Defence, National Security, or Government
  • A strong grasp of digital and IT strategy – including knowledge of enterprise architecture, secure IT delivery, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, MODCloud), and agile delivery frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage senior client relationships and influence decision-making at the strategic level
  • Experience working in secure environments, with awareness of national security and defence-grade IT standards
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams, drive innovation, and scale delivery capability
  • Familiarity with MOD digital transformation programmes (e.g., Defence Digital, NSoIT(D), DE&S programmes) is desirable
