Job Opportunity: Immigration Partner
Join a multi-service practice with an excellent reputation for client service. We are seeking a Partner to develop our Immigration Department as part of our broader legal offerings. You will serve as the main point of contact for UK immigration queries, primarily within the corporate and HNW private immigration sectors.
This award-winning firm has experienced significant growth and is looking to hire a senior professional to lead the development of its immigration services. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and grow the immigration function within a globally recognized multi-service practice.
Main Responsibilities:- Act as the primary contact for clients on UK immigration legislation, including M&A, corporate structure, secondments, recruitment, contracts of employment, TUPE, etc.
- Provide immigration advice to HNW private clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to cross-sell firm services and deliver a comprehensive approach.
- Advise corporations on Global Mobility and Skilled Worker visa categories and serve as a Level 1 User on the Sponsor Management System.
- Conduct client site visits for training and immigration compliance audits.
- Lead business development initiatives and promote new firm services.
- Senior Solicitor or Partner with extensive experience in UK immigration law, preferably from a city or global law firm.
- Proven track record in developing commercial solutions for clients.
- Ability to build strong client relationships, serving as a main contact for high-profile clients.
- Demonstrated business development skills, including cross-selling and revenue generation with growth potential.
- Strong expertise in advising on both corporate and HNW private client immigration matters.
