Capco is expanding our Regulatory Change team, and we’re looking for an experienced Regulatory Change Director who can help leading financial services organizations navigate the complex landscape of evolving regulations, particularly in trade and transaction reporting.
As a Capco Regulatory Change Director, you will be a strategic advisor and leader, guiding financial services organizations through the complexities of regulatory transformations. You will play a pivotal role in helping clients stay ahead of regulatory changes, particularly in trade and transaction reporting frameworks, by designing, leading, and delivering comprehensive solutions that ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

The opportunity is to join Capco’s growing Financial Crime, Risk, Regulation and Finance capability. The role will entail working across all types of financial institutions in the market to support them navigate and deliver against key market objectives with a focus on Trade & Transaction Reporting and associated market regulations.
The types of projects we cover are:
- Supporting clients with regulatory change across impact assessments, implementation support, remediation, control framework & architecture assessments and regtech implementation focused on trade & transaction reporting (e.g. MiFID, EMIR, CSDR, SFTR, HKMA, MAS, CFTC etc)
- Compliance within regulatory obligations against tight deadlines
- Operating model reviews to assess positioning relative to market and cost optimisation initiatives
In order to support our clients, we need people who have a deep understanding of capital markets/investment banking coupled with strong change management experience and prior demonstrable success, either as a management consultant or within a change role in a financial services institution.
This role allows you to deliver as part of a long-term strategic partnership with our clients, whilst developing within a forward thinking and entrepreneurial business.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in the capital markets domain with front-to-back knowledge of organisations (e.g., Front Office, Middle Office, Treasury, Risk – Operational/Market/Credit, Operations – including Cash & Collateral Management/Clearing & Settlement, Technology, Finance, and Compliance) and the ability to face off to key stakeholders with strong credibility.
- Experience in delivery trade & transaction reporting changes (e.g. MiFID, EMIR, CSDR, SFTR, HKMA, MAS, CFTC etc)
- Key areas of product knowledge to include OTC derivatives, Fixed Income and Equities.
- An understanding of the key market, global and regulatory drivers shaping the industry and an ability to articulate these by way of opportunities for consulting firms to support the industry.
- Experience gained in either consulting or industry with exposure to shaping and delivering significant programmes. Key areas of interest include regulatory-driven change, operating model analysis and design to support functional consolidation and integration, architecture simplification, business divestment and sourcing, new product/market strategies.
- Demonstrable expertise in building and leveraging relationships to support growth. Build and maintain strong client relationships within the sector, leveraging proven industry content and delivery capability.
- Solution development, showing a clear ability as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to enhance existing propositions, and develop new ones.
- People management, building a team of consultants with the right mix of grades, skills and experience to support client opportunities and projected growth.
- Develop and convert a pipeline of opportunities.
- Fulfil a key role in account and proposition development within Market Domains and Key Client Accounts, assisting senior management to increase revenue.
- Formulate propositions and solutions that meet client requirements in addition to managing and directing pursuit activity.
- Strong bid management abilities, with a proven ability to mentor and train Consultants.
- Drive thought leadership and client campaigns.
