Luminary Bakery Ltd. is seeking an experienced Managing Director, Commercial Lead to lead and expand our social enterprise, driving both commercial success and social impact during an exciting period of growth. This is a pivotal role with the opportunity to shape the future of our business, ensuring we continue to empower women through training, employment, and community.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership to increase sales, develop new products with our talented baking team, and foster key partnerships to strengthen our brand. With our new production unit now open, the key focus will be driving sales and ensuring we maximise its capacity. They will work closely with the Finance Director to maintain financial sustainability while overseeing commercial development and overall strategic direction.
In addition to driving commercial growth, the Managing Director will lead a dedicated team, ensuring our values of Quality, Purpose, Community, and Inclusivity are embedded in every aspect of our work. The Managing Director will work closely with the CEO of the Charity, Luminary Limited, to ensure close cooperation and good communications between both organisations in order to fulfil the joint mission. This role also involves governance oversight, representing Luminary Bakery externally, and reporting directly to the Board of Directors.
