Job DescriptionLegal Director, Regulatory Affairs & Compliance – 10+ PQE – LondonMarsden is partnering with a leader in the fintech sector to hire a Director of Regulatory Affairs & Compliance. This newly created role supports the business and offers an opportunity to take on a strategic position within a fast-paced, founder-led company that has already achieved \’Unicorn\’ status and is entering its next growth phase.A competitive salary package is offered, including long-term incentives. The role is based in Central London with hybrid working arrangements.Reporting to the Chief Legal & Risk Officer, you will focus on all regulatory and compliance matters, including:Advising senior leaders on FCA, consumer duty, and other relevant financial services regulatory and legal frameworksSupporting the business with legal and compliance risk adviceDrafting and negotiating regulatory documentationDeveloping and maintaining a robust compliance framework aligned with operational processesLiaising extensively with the FCA and other regulatorsAdvising on regulatory issues related to product launches and key initiativesInstructing external counsel when necessaryTo be considered, candidates should be qualified lawyers with 10+ years PQE. Ideal candidates will have trained in the FS Regulatory practice at a top-tier firm, with subsequent in-house or private practice experience in a similar role. A strong technical regulatory knowledge and experience working in an FCA-regulated environment are essential.
