We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled HFM Consolidation Architect to join our finance systems team. You will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing our Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) reporting solutions, ensuring robust consolidation, reporting, and compliance with both IFRS and US GAAP. This position involves close collaboration with a team of HFM specialists, finance users, and IT to drive best-in-class consolidation practices across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and design scalable and efficient HFM consolidation and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure HFM application design meets multi-currency and dual GAAP (IFRS and US GAAP) reporting requirements.
  • Rule and Logic Management: Develop, amend, and optimize HFM consolidation rules and system calculations.
  • Maintain consistency and integrity in consolidation logic, ensuring accuracy of financial results.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Design and maintain complex financial reports within HFM and Smart View.
  • Develop ad-hoc analysis and standardized reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Metadata Management: Coordinate metadata changes with downstream and upstream systems.
  • Data Integration (FDMEE): Manage and maintain FDMEE data mappings and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot data load issues and ensure data accuracy between source systems and HFM.
  • Documentation & Governance: Develop and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and user guides.
  • Establish governance standards for metadata, rules, and system configuration.
  • Work closely with finance, accounting, and IT teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into system solutions.
  • Support HFM specialists within the team.

Experience & Technical Expertise

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in HFM application design, implementation, and administration.
  • Deep understanding of multi-GAAP reporting (IFRS and US GAAP) within HFM.
  • Strong experience with multi-currency consolidation and FX translation processes.
  • Proven track record in metadata and dimensional design in HFM.
  • In-depth knowledge of HFM rules writing, calculations, and consolidation logic.
  • Experience in FDMEE mapping, scripting, and integration management.
  • Advanced skills in Smart View, Excel, and financial reporting tools.

Analytical & Documentation Skills

  • Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills

  • Qualifications & Certifications: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Oracle/Hyperion certifications (e.g., Oracle EPM certification) are a plus.
  • Industry & Tool Exposure: Experience working in a global organization with complex legal and reporting structures.
  • Familiarity with data governance, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Exposure to other Oracle EPM tools (e.g., Planning) is beneficial.
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
