About the Role
Entity Governance & Compliance (EGC) business sits within our Tax & Legal Line of Service, helping clients stay ahead of changes impacting their businesses by navigating complexity and risk. We provide deep Tax, Legal, and Governance expertise, offering critical context for informed and compliant decision-making. Our clients range from multinational organizations to entrepreneurs and family businesses, reflecting the diversity of our work.
The EGC team includes over 70 members across London, Birmingham, Reading, Glasgow, Manchester, and Belfast, with a senior leadership team of 10. It is a market-leading global practice within a network of over 4,000 legal and governance professionals in more than 150 countries, led by Jonathan Gibson in the UK. We support clients on governance, transactions, and compliance, and are at the forefront of UK and global corporate governance reforms, providing industry-leading thought leadership. The business is growing, driven by sustainability laws, global subsidiary governance transformation, and managed services.
What your days will look like:
- As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to resolve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
- Managing the delivery of governance and transaction projects, including entity restructuring, governance regulatory advisory projects, designing and implementing corporate governance disclosures/reporting/frameworks, and providing director training.
- Managing, coaching, and supporting team members.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Collaborating with the wider EGC global network to ensure service delivery meets SLAs/KPIs.
- Working with colleagues across the firm to support client needs.
- Managing budgets and billing across your portfolio.
- Innovating and finding better ways to support clients and the team.
