What you’ll be doing

  • Review and optimise the sales structure across our hotels, aligned to segmentation and business need.
  • Implement consistent and clear performance frameworks to drive accountability and support underperformance.
  • Lead the recruitment, development and retention of high-performing sales talent.
  • Identify skill gaps and build targeted development plans that support career progression.
  • Guide hotel sales teams on targeting and converting new business, and support them with commercial alignment and contracting.
  • Collaborate with Directors of Sales and GMs to shape strategy in line with budget expectations.
  • Maximise opportunities from national accounts through close partnership with the central sales team.
  • Use key platforms like Agency360 to set and track performance against target accounts by hotel.
  • Work with M&E leadership to improve process and conversion for larger group and events business.
  • Partner with the Director of Global Account Management to maximise inbound congress and complex business opportunities.
  • Prepare senior stakeholders for Business Review Meetings with insight and commercial confidence.
  • Oversee complex contract negotiation and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Bring in market insights and future-focused thinking to keep us commercially agile and prepared.
