The firm is seeking to hire a Contentious Probate Partner to join their vibrant office based in the heart of the West End of London. Contentious Probate is currently handled by the litigation team, but due to an ever-increasing amount of work coming into the department, driven by the firm’s great reputation for private client and family work, the firm is now seeking a Partner to break this off as a separate department in its own right.
You will lead the department working closely with the Partners in private client and family. You will get involved in business development, strategy and will also mentor, supervise the junior members of the team in time. You will have good support but also the autonomy to shape the department and put your stamp on it.
You will deal with a high-quality caseload of contentious trusts and probate matters. You should be a rain maker, ambitious and an individual who has a passion for developing, expanding and driving new business. You will be a Contentious Trusts and Probate Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit on the amount of experience).
