EPUT is seeking an enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Specialist Mental Health Recovery service based at Latton Bush, Harlow. The post covers North Harlow primary care networks and is part of the West Essex Integrated Care System.

The role involves providing consultative input to PCN MHPs and directing patients into clinics when secondary care is needed. This arrangement will evolve as the transformation work progresses. The team offers community mental health services for patients referred by GP surgeries within Harlow North, serving an adult population of around 21,000. The post holder will be part of the senior management team, contributing to service development and improvement.

The role requires independent and accountable work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering mental health services. Collaboration with partner organizations, service users, carers, and clinicians is essential to providing a 7-day, 24-hour service throughout the year.

Applicants must have full GMC registration, be on the Specialist Register, and hold an appropriate CCT or be within six months of obtaining it on the date of the AAC. The trust supports professional development, research, and teaching, with links to ARU and other educational institutions. A generous relocation package is available.
