We are seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to continue to lead the development of Saint Andrews Birmingham Secure Services and to become an integral part of the REACH OUT partnership.

Full Time post (37.5 hours per week)
St Andrews Birmingham is a 124-bed adult mental healthcare facility located in Stirchley, South Birmingham, comprising eight wards covering medium and low security. Currently, seven wards serve men and one serves women.
The Birmingham site offers an excellent opportunity to deliver value-based healthcare focusing on clinical outcomes. The charity emphasizes using up-to-date data on outcomes, based on the International Consortium of Health Outcome Measures, to continually adapt care to meet each patient's needs. We are also leading in the intelligent use of data to inform safety and care.
The role
You will also have opportunities to undertake research projects as part of St Andrews' commitment to innovation and world-class care. Currently, the vacancy is in Low Secure Services, but this can be flexible for the right candidate.
Applicants must have MRCPsych or equivalent and hold a CCT in Forensic or General Adult Psychiatry. The post requires undertaking on-call duties on a rota basis (currently one week in six).
The salary is competitive, including travel allowance, NHS-standard sickness policy, 41 days annual leave, car lease scheme, free parking, cycle-to-work scheme, relocation allowance (subject to status), ongoing CPD, and more.
