This vice president will play a key role in devising and executing marketing strategies to support the growth of our institutional business in the UK, including pension funds, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, and insurers.

The vice president will partner with client-facing business leaders, product strategy, investment teams, and broader AM Marketing teams to identify and harness top commercial priorities, translating them into full-funnel plans to fuel business growth in this segment.

Position Responsibilities
  • Channel marketing vision and implementation: Research, plan, develop, and implement an integrated marketing strategy for AM’s institutional and insurance client segments to support overall business growth.
  • Brand narrative: Ensure the Asset Management value proposition and messaging pillars are integrated into all institutional and insurance marketing activities globally.
  • Client research: Collaborate with AM brand marketing and business leaders to analyze client perceptions and identify areas for improvement to support business objectives.
  • Campaigns and execution: Develop and execute impactful lead generation and client retention campaigns across digital, media, and in-person channels.
  • Content: Work with content and product marketing teams to deliver a content calendar that supports the marketing strategy, including editorial ideas, content creation, and continuous improvement of marketing and sales materials.
  • Measurement and reporting: Provide end-to-end reporting on marketing impact, including ROI analysis, and adjust strategies as needed for optimal results.
  • Risk management: Ensure all marketing communications adhere to regulatory and procedural guidelines, proactively managing operational risks.
  • Team effectiveness: Drive operational efficiency within the marketing team, ensuring high motivation, engagement, and scalability.
  • Partnership and collaboration: Maintain strong relationships with other marketing leaders, corporate communications, sales, investment heads, and key stakeholders globally.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years in a similar role within a leading financial institution, with a proven track record of measurable impacts and achievements.
  • Deep knowledge of the asset management industry, including clients, products, regulations, and competitors.
  • Strong strategic thinking, commercial awareness, and business acumen.
  • Experience working effectively in complex, matrixed organizations with excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to present investment views clearly, synthesize information, and develop compelling narratives.
  • Proven integrated marketing skills across strategy and execution, leveraging subject matter experts for effective outcomes.
  • Solid digital marketing experience, including martech, lead generation, and analytics in B2B environments.
  • Ability to work under pressure at varying speeds while maintaining high standards.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS); MBA and/or CFA preferred.
