Cobalt are pleased to be supporting a Global Real Estate Investment Management firm with their search for an Asset Manager at Senior Associate Director level. Due to the size of their existing portfolio and pending acquisitions, they are looking to hire a hands-on Asset Manager to join their Asset Management team in London.
You will be responsible for leading the strategic management of a diverse Commercial property portfolio of Office assets, located in Central London and throughout the UK. Once established, this role will also provide the opportunity to be involved with their Residential portfolio. This role is ideal for an existing Asset Manager that is seeking a new challenge on the client side.
Key Job Responsibilities:- Prepare and manage annual budgets and reports which cover the financial and operational performance of the assets, leasing status and rental collection.
- Develop asset plans for each asset including recommending asset enhancement initiatives and redevelopment plans where appropriate.
- You will also be involved in supporting with refurbishments, lease regears and rent reviews.
- Taking a hands-on approach to the portfolio which also includes interacting and negotiating with tenants and visiting sites.
- Work closely with the Property Manager to ensure that the asset is properly maintained, managed and compliant with regulations.
- Leading leasing meetings on smaller scale projects.
- Assist the Investment and Acquisitions teams with any information or assistance they require as and when necessary.
- MRICS is desirable but not essential.
- At least 6 years of experience in Property Management or lease management with good knowledge of the UK market.
- Commercial property experience is essential with familiarity of the Residential market.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Candidate must demonstrate basic analytical capabilities.
Salary between £75,000 - £85,000 DOE + discretionary bonus. Role is 5 days a week in the office.
