We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team., at a site in Banbury (Near The Gateway Shopping Centre)
1 evening per week on a Wednesday, for 2 hours, start time after 5.30pm (immediate start for the right candidate) this is a key job so you will be working alone and have the added responsibility of opening and closing the premises.
As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a pleasant environment for our customers. This position requires excellent customer service skills, drive, and effective communication abilities in English.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces as needed
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries or requests with a friendly and helpful attitude
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Must have a valid driver\'s license (if required for the position)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
