Here we have an exciting opportunity to undertake the role of Area Manager for Goldcrest Cleaning Limited in the Birmingham, Coventry, Leamington Spa (and surrounding areas).

Current No Contracts – 13 across various sectors including education. Hours – 8 (reviewed regularly). Place of work – Home Worker with occasional travel to Head Office (Warwick). Geography covered – Rugby / Banbury and other surrounding areas. All business expenses will be reimbursed.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
  • Manage all aspects of contract/service delivery, including site audits, stock ordering, client liaison and ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Oversee staff – absence, performance, discipline and recruitment.
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance.
  • Report to the Senior Area Manager through monthly meetings to review contracts and performance.
  • Attend quarterly Area Management meetings for updates, training and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience with ISO 9001 & 14001 implementation and maintenance.
  • Proven team management experience.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Reliable, experienced, knowledgeable and a team player.
  • Own transport and ability to travel to Warwick as required.

Pay and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a comprehensive package which includes a competitive hourly pay rate, mileage allowance, cash expenses and, after a qualifying period, a cash benefit scheme provided by Western Provident Association. Additionally, the candidate can enrol onto the company’s auto‑enrolment pension scheme provided by The Peoples Pension. After completing a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months, the candidate will attend a course on “Managing Safely,” accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
