We are looking for a proactive and structured Team Lead Site Management (m/f/d) to lead and support our UK-based Site Management teams across multiple renewable energy projects. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget. Acting as the key link between Site teams and the Head of Operations, you will provide leadership, coaching, and operational support while ensuring high quality standards, effective stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement across all project sites.
- Lead and coordinate the UK Site Management team across ongoing and upcoming projects
- Manage onboarding, performance reviews, coaching, and development of Site team members
- Support recruitment and resource planning together with the UK project delivery team
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to support smooth project execution
- Act as first point of contact for operational escalations in coordination with the Head of Operations
- Visit project sites across the UK to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance standards
- Ensure consistent implementation of company processes, HSE standards, and site management procedures
- Monitor construction schedules and support corrective actions where required
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons-learned activities
- Review site reports, compliance documentation, budgets, invoices, and key project figures
- Support process standardisation, reporting structures, and digital tools implementation
- Ensure effective communication between site teams and central departments
Profile:
- NVQ Level 7 or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in a leadership or coordination role within utility-scale solar projects or large infrastructure construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction practices, site management processes, and HSE standards
- Proven ability to manage multiple sites, teams, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Experience with project reporting, budgeting, and operational coordination
- Valid SMSTS certification
- Black CSCS Card or Black ECS Card, depending on discipline
- Valid First Aid certification
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel regularly to project sites across the UK
