Team Lead Engineering (m/f/d) in Farnborough

Join us in a key leadership role where you will shape and develop our UK engineering function while driving the successful delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects. You will lead a talented team, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and contribute directly to the growth of GOLDBECK SOLAR in one of our most important markets.

Your tasks:

1. Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team
2. Act as the technical escalation point for projects and tenders
3. Ensure compliance with UK regulations, client requirements and industry standards
4. Review and approve engineering designs, calculations and documentation
5. Support project execution from design through commissioning
6. Coordinate closely with project management, procurement, construction and sales teams
7. Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools
8. Support recruitment, onboarding and professional development of team members
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders

Profile:

1. Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
2. Extensive experience in engineering roles within the solar, renewable energy or infrastructure sector
3. Previous experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
4. Strong understanding of UK engineering standards and regulations
5. Experience with AutoCAD and PVSyst
6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
7. Self-sufficient and proactive approach to problem-solving
8. Willingness to travel across the UK for project and client meetings
9. Full UK driving licence desirable
