What you can expect:
Join us as a Site Manager (m/f/d) and take charge of managing on-site activities and subcontractors on our utility-scale solar PV projects across the UK. You’ll ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance while ensuring the successful delivery of the project.
Tasks:
- Manage site operations for ground-mounted PV installations
- Supervise construction activities and subcontractors to meet project plans and health and safety regulations
- Monitor daily progress, resource use, and quality standards
- Conduct site inspections and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation and review change orders
- Track defect rectification and enforce site policies
- Provide leadership and foster teamwork
- Use office software and digital tools for reporting and communication
Profile:
- NVQ Level 6 or higher in Construction Management, or related civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering background
- Proven experience managing large-scale solar construction projects
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Skilled in interpreting technical documentation and industry standards
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and site reporting tools
- Required certifications (to be presented upon hiring): Valid SMSTS, Black CSCS Card or Black ECS Card (depending on discipline), First Aid Certification (3-day course)
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Valid UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel to project sites across the UK
