To support our continued growth in the UK market, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HR Generalist / HR Business Partner (m/f/d) with a strong focus on recruiting and HR support based in our office in Farnborough. You will report directly to our Head of HR at our headquarters in Germany and act as the key HR contact for our growing UK organization.
In this role, you will play a central part in shaping and further developing the local HR landscape. Beyond managing operational HR topics, you will actively contribute to building scalable HR processes, implementing corporate HR policies in the UK context, and supporting the development of a growing organization.
Working closely with both local managers and the HR team at headquarters, you will act as a trusted sparring partner and advisor, guiding leaders on HR topics, people-related decisions, and basic labor law matters across the entire employee lifecycle.
Your tasks:
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle for the UK team, from onboarding to offboarding, including all operational and administrative HR tasks, ensuring compliance with internal policies as well as UK labor law and regulations.
- Coordinate and execute the end-to-end recruitment process for the UK market in close alignment with the headquarters, ensuring effective implementation of central recruiting strategies and processes, as well as cooperation with local recruitment agencies and headhunters when required.
- Act as the local HR interface between the UK organization and the HR headquarters, ensuring smooth communication, alignment of processes, and implementation of central HR guidelines and initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted sparring partner for managers and employees in the UK, advising on HR-related topics, employee relations, and basic labor law matters in day-to-day operations.
- Handle HR reporting and KPIs for the UK business area, including tracking, analyzing, and interpreting key HR figures, and deriving operational recommendations in close coordination with the headquarters.
- Implement and anchor the Corporate HR strategy, policies, and processes for the UK organization, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
Required profile:
- Proven experience in a broad HR generalist role, ideally covering the full employee lifecycle in an international or UK-based environment.
- Solid practical knowledge of UK labour law and HR administration (contracts, employee relations, absences, terminations, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally including cooperation with local recruitment agencies.
- Experience in advising managers on operational HR topics and acting as a trusted HR contact person in day-to-day business.
- Confidence in working with HR KPIs, reporting and HR systems.
- Ability to implement central HR policies and processes in a local, market-appropriate way.
- Very good English skills; German is a plus.
- Structured, reliable and hands-on working style with a strong sense of ownership.
